2021 Lincoln Corsair vs. 2020 Cadillac XT4
ONLY ONE, LESS POWERFUL ENGINE
The Cadillac XT4 only offers a turbocharged 2.0L I-4 engine that's less powerful than the Turbocharged 2.0L I-4 engine in the Corsair. Additionally, Corsair Clients can select the available Corsair Reserve Turbocharged 2.3L I-4 engine that produces 295 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. What's more, Corsair Grand Touring features a unique plug-in hybrid powertrain mated with eAWD for smooth, off-the-line performance and a whisper quiet ride.
XT4 HAS LESS UTILITY
Clients buying a "utility" vehicle are expecting exactly that, but they get less with the Cadillac XT4, which could mean having to choose between packing another suitcase, bringing additional golf bags, or leaving them behind.
LUXURIES AND DRIVERASSIST TECHNOLOGIES COST EXTRA
Cadillac XT4 buyers will have to pay extra for some luxuries and driver-assist technologies. In some cases, they cannot even buy certain features until they select the mid-level XT4 "Premium Luxury" model. Features that cost extra on XT4 and come standard on Corsair include:
- Auto High Beams
- Blind Spot Detection with Cross-Traffic Alert
- Heated front seats
- Lane-Keeping System
- Power liftgate
JOYSTICK SHIFTER
The XT4 comes with a joystick shifter that can be bumped out of gear when using the cupholders or reaching for climate or infotainment controls. The Corsair has an elegant push-button Piano Key Shifter that frees up a lot of useful space in the center console.
WHERE'S THE CONVENIENCE?
Phone As A Key technology is as simple as its name, but it's not available on Cadillac XT4. It is available on the Lincoln Corsair, offering Clients the option of using their personal smartphone as a key. After a few simple activation steps via the Lincoln Way app, Clients may never have to take their car keys with them again.
