2017 Lincoln Grand Caravan GT Wagon Fleet

The 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan GT delivers maximum value by including a high level of standard equipment at a price point where many rivals charge extra.

Analytical buyers seeking a minivan that checks the boxes for both practicality and features will appreciate what this vehicle offers. The inclusion of amenities such as Stow 'N Go seating, three-zone automatic climate control, and a rear entertainment-ready configuration make it ideal for those who scrutinize spec sheets and want the most for their budget. In areas like St. Louis, where family commutes and road trips are common, the ability to easily configure seating and cargo with fold-in-floor options maximizes everyday utility without requiring costly upgrades.

This minivan is powered by a 3.6L V6 24V VVT engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering smooth, responsive driving for daily family routines or highway travel. The powertrain offers a strong balance between available performance and cost efficiency, providing a competitive power-to-price ratio in the minivan segment. With EPA ratings of 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, it helps control long-term fuel expenses, and its front-wheel-drive setup is designed to minimize maintenance costs compared to more complex AWD systems. This makes the Grand Caravan GT a practical choice for value-focused buyers seeking to minimize total ownership expenses.

Safety value is a highlight, with standard features including ABS brakes, electronic stability control, front and rear side impact airbags, and a knee airbag. Unlike many competitors that require paying more for advanced protection, this minivan equips buyers with brake assist, traction control, and anti-whiplash front head restraints as part of its base configuration. The vehicle includes a rearview camera and automatic headlights, ensuring that critical safety technology is not reserved for higher trims or extra-cost packages, raising its value proposition for families concerned about everyday protection.

The Grand Caravan GT includes features like heated leather seats, a heated steering wheel, Garmin navigation, power driver and passenger seats, a power liftgate, and tri-zone automatic climate control as standard. These amenities typically cost extra on rival minivans. Stow 'N Go seating with fold-in-floor second-row buckets and a split-bench third row allow maximum cargo flexibility, while the audio system with nine speakers and SiriusXM capability brings entertainment value to every drive. The inclusion of a 115V auxiliary power outlet and rear air conditioning ensures both convenience and comfort are part of the standard experience.

Against competitors like the Honda Odyssey EX and Toyota Sienna LE, this minivan stands out by providing premium features without requiring buyers to step up to higher trims.

What's included as standard equipment? The answer is a robust set of features: leather-trimmed heated seats (front and rear), a heated steering wheel, navigation, power sliding doors, and a power liftgate. Is this minivan worth the price? Given the high level of included amenities and functional utility, the value equation is strong.
